Three matched, rectangular bronzite beads are the focus of this stunning necklace, which combines obsidian, mountain 'jade', Kambaba jasper and Bali sterling silver. Bronzite is a dark brown or black stone with patterns of metallic gold in swirls or streaks on the surface. These three focal beads are a highly polished, rich brown color with a good deal of 'sparkle'.
The heavy toggle clasp is sterling silver. 18" long, not counting the 1.5" long drop pendant.

It's tempting
to say this of all my pieces, but the photo truly does not do
this necklace justice. The large polymer beads are absolutely
gorgeous: a deep, glossy black with a few random swirls of deepest
purple, green, gold and blue. These colors are brought out further
by the use of deep green freshwater pearls and round amethyst
beads, set off with shining sterling silver.
The polymer
beads were created by hand by a clay artist. A light varnish
protects them, but no paint was used - only the skillful blending
of clay.
