Tiny purple glass Delica beads make up the beadwoven sections, which are further embellished with sterling silver, amethyst, white quartz and more. The focal drop is a round beaded bead (small beads woven onto a wooden base) made of amethyst, mountain jade and silver, with more amethyst, silver and mountain jade below.

It's tempting to say this of all my pieces, but the photo truly does not do this necklace justice. The large polymer beads are absolutely gorgeous: a deep, glossy black with a few random swirls of deepest purple, green, gold and blue. These colors are brought out further by the use of deep green freshwater pearls and round amethyst beads, set off with shining sterling silver.

The polymer beads were created by hand by a clay artist. A light varnish protects them, but no paint was used - only the skillful blending of clay.
